만국(겟세마네) 교회는 로마 가톨릭교회로, 감란산 겟세마네 동산 옆에 위치한다.

이곳은 예수께서 체포되시기 전날 밤 땀을 흘리시면서 기도를 하신 곳으로 알려져 있다.

원래는 비잔틴 대성당과 십자군의 예배당이 있었지만, 지진과 전쟁으로 파괴됐다.

현재 건물은 1920년도 12개 국가의 성금으로 건축된 것이다. 12국가는 아르젠티나, 브라질, 칠레, 멕시코, 이탈리아, 프랑스, 스페인, 영국, 벨기에, 캐나다, 독일, 그리고 미국이 있다. 설계를 담당한 이탈리아 건축가 안토니오 바르루치는 성금한 12국가를 기리기 위해 12개의 돔 모양의 지붕을 건축했다.

이렇게 세계 여러 나라의 도움을 받아서 지어졌다는 의미로 만국의 교회라고 불린다.

교회 정면에는 코린트 양식의 기둥으로 되어있으며 각 기둥 끝에는 4명의 전도자들의 동상이 세워져 있다. 순서대로 마가, 누가, 마태, 요한이며 각각 자신이 작성한 복음서를 손에 쥐고 있는 모습을 나타낸다.

The Church of All Nations is a Roman Catholic church located next to the Garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives.

This is known as the place where Jesus prayed in sweat the night before his arrest.

Originally a Byzantine basilica and a chapel of the Crusaders were there but it was destroyed by earthquakes and wars.

The current building was built in 1920 with donations from 12 countries. The 12 countries are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Italy, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Germany, and the United States. Italian architect Antonio Barrucci.

designed the 12 dome-shaped roofs to commemorate the 12 countries that donated.

It is called the Church of All Nations because it was built with the help of many countries around the world.

The front of the church is made of Corinthian columns, and at the end of each column there are statues of four evangelists who are Mark, Luke, Matthew, and John. And each figure are holding the Gospel letter which they wrote.
